September 26

Last class, we discussed the first chapter of Millionaire Teacher. We all agreed that one of the best things about Hallam's book was his style of writing- for high school students especially, his writing is easy to interpret and follow. This is an important factor for us, as personal finance is often very term/vocab-heavy, so making things easy to understand greatly benefits us.

One thing I found really interesting was Hallam's Willy Wonka analogy- because most of us are familiar with the classic Roald Dahl novel, we understood his references. Comparing Willy's business to stocks allowed us to gain a better understanding of how stocks rise in value due to fluctuations, demand, etc.

One question I have for Mr. Bisset is: is it best to put a monthly or yearly limit on a credit/debit card at our age?
