1. Which group’s storyboard did you get after the big switch? What were your first impressions when you received the group’s storyboard? What were some of your fears/concerns about filming this storyboard?
We received group 1's storyboard. We were all shocked when we found out that we had to use a different storyboard. We were concerned that we couldn't find a door that had plants in the background because they were necessary for the story.
2. What did you like about the group’s storyboard? What did you not like about the group’s
storyboard? Explain.
We liked how the storyboard was detailed. We did not like how the shots and angles were not written, so we had to make our own.
3. After filming and editing, what feedback do you have for the group? Please cover the following:
Storyboard layout and detail
Suggestions for shots/angles/sound effects
How the storyboard affected the production (shooting) process
The layout was very good. The clips were labeled with numbers to show which clips go in what order. I would suggest writing down the camera shots and angles, but the drawings were very clear and easily understandable. The only thing that really affected the production process was having to choose what angles and shots to film because they were not written down.
4. After shooting someone else’s storyboard, what have you learned from this experience? How will this affect your future projects?
I have learned that storyboards are crucial because they need to be detailed so that other people can still use in situations like the one we experienced.
5. After viewing another group’s interpretation of your storyboard, what is your opinion of your film idea? What improvements/changes will you make to your storyboard? What will you keep?
I think that our storyboard should have been more clear with where the sound was coming from. I think we will keep the main idea.
