Snake Gourd: My partner, Sabrina and I, predicted that the seeds are like a cucumber with seeds in the center of the vegetable. We observed and found it long, cylinder-shaped, with pointy edges. One possibility is that it's large size attracts an
imals to eat the vegetable and when it goes to the bathroom, the seed grows in the dung. The color of the snake gourd is green with a few random streaks of white.
Okra - Lady finger: We predicted that the seeds are distributed all along the inside of the vegetable. It is green and pointy at the ends. Towards the end, it becomes smaller. It is oddly shaped, with ridges all around the outside of the Okra. Animals might eat this and the seeds will grow in the dung as well.
Long bean: A prediction that Sabrina and I made is that the seeds are placed all along the inside of the vegetable. It is green, thin, very long, and pointy at the end. We thought that since it is so long and thin it might attract animals to eat them and then grow in the poop.
Because if there was only one vegetable/fruit and animals didn't like it, the seeds wouldn't get dispersed. Also, if a disease hit the vegetable/fruit, then all the same vegetables and fruits would get infected.
